San Pang Dan Melon Seed
San Pang Dan Melon Seed is a gift box designed for packaged melon seeds. The outer box has the shape of a sunflower head and is made of cardboard with a faux leather handle on the top, so the box can be carried like a bag. The cover paper is printed in four colors and finished with a star film with a raised effect, with golden aluminum in the middle. The inner container is made of tinplate and takes the abstract form of a melon seed. The container is divided into two parts, so seeds and shells can be kept separately.
San Pang Dan Melon Seed Gift Box by Mars Team was featured as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award. San Pang Dan Melon Seed Gift Box won the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
