Zhen Hao E
Zhen Hao E is a packaging series for dog food and dog snacks. The design draws on Chinese culture by presenting dogs as ancient emperors of different ages. In China, dog owners are often described as officials who serve their pets, and this idea shapes the illustrations. Cartoon dog characters indicate the size group, separating small dogs from medium and large dogs. Different colors separate dog food from snacks, so the range is easy to understand. Recycled paper, corrugated paper and aluminium foil bags are used.
Zhen Hao E Dog Food Packaging by Yuchen Han has been recognized as an exceptional illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Zhen Hao E Dog Food Packaging earned the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which rewards excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
