Chuankui
Chuankui is a packaging design for liquor, inspired by the culture of Sichuan, China. The name means Sichuan leader. A panda illustration formed from green bamboo leaves covers the bottle and recalls the mountains and bamboo forests of the region. A hollow panda paw shape is placed on another part of the bottle, so the package is easy to hold. The cap takes the form of a bamboo knot with carved bamboo leaves. The packaging is made of degradable materials, which supports the ecological intent of the design.
Chuankui Liquor Packaging by Sungoo Design has been featured as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Chuankui Liquor Packaging won the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that rewards excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
