Allys
Allys is a coffee packaging design created for a coffee house. The packaging is a flat bottom pouch that holds 8 ounces of ground or whole bean coffee. A one way degassing valve keeps the coffee fresh, and a pull tab zipper allows the bag to be resealed after use. The illustrations were hand painted and inspired by the trees and vines of Bali and the sunset over Chichen Itza in Mexico. The bags are made from natural resources such as seaweed and hemp, and they can be reused. The aim is a simple, vibrant and distinctive look.
Allys Coffee Packaging by Meghana Reddy has been identified as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Allys Coffee Packaging was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that honors superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
