Una Luna
Una Luna is a packaging design for a premium series of fruit candies coated in Italian dark chocolate. Two boxes were created, named Cherry Garden and Roses and Grapes, after lines from well known Ukrainian poems. Each box carries a collage illustration assembled from separate elements, and the fruit used in each series is repeated within the composition. A black background and minimal lettering give a modern and elegant appearance. The boxes are printed by offset technology with matte varnish and copper foil embossing on selected details.
Una Luna Confectionery Packaging by Olha Takhtarova was identified as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Una Luna Confectionery Packaging earned the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that recognizes excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
