Piernas Largas
Piernas Largas is a packaging design for a range of four wines. Each bottle carries its own name, concept and illustration, inspired by characters and moments familiar to young people in Chile. The colourful graphics aim to start conversations and to make the bottle a centrepiece at social gatherings. Each glass bottle holds 750 ml, measures 300 mm in height and weighs 710 g. The artwork is applied with a durable heat shrinkable sleeve that resists refrigeration. The intent is to offer a playful alternative to traditional wine presentation.
Piernas Largas Wine by Ian Wallace was identified as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Piernas Largas Wine was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2025. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award that rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
