Golden Life Wine Packaging

Golden Life

Golden Life is a packaging design for green plum wine. The form is inspired by traditional Japanese architecture with Chinese elements, including temple and house profiles and the curves of Zen buildings. A golden color reflects the tone of the wine. The outer box is made of composite paper combined with polyethylene and foil, while the bottle is made of glass, a chemically stable material that is not corroded by alcohol or acids. An opening on the side saves material and production steps. A removable ring and a ribbon hold the package closed and make it easy to carry.

Golden Life Wine Packaging by Bruce Tao has been featured as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Golden Life Wine Packaging won the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
