SUMO-月光浴-(Moonlight Bath)

SUMO -Super Monument- is a Japanese brand for leading people to wonderful life. "GEKKOYOKU" is a bath salt which was given the energy from new moon. For a packaging design, I focused images of Moon, Spiritual thing, a little Japanese traditional style, and quite new design. Especially the circle drawing on tag, it can be reflected light of moon. That light gives people energy of moon.

Tippler's Wine

The design inspiration is from the poetry "drinking" of the poet Tao Yuanming in China. "I built a hut beside a path, But hear no cart or horse, You ask how this can be? A distant mind is a far off place Picking mums by the eastern fence I lose myself in the southern hills. The mountain air, the sunset light, Birds flying home together. In this there is a truth To know, but not to say."subwayThe bottle of the white spirit be designed by drop-shaped with the tippler image, what express the means of "one white spirit.

I hoped to make a unique design that anybody can recognize without looking at the actual product. I designed woman's long hair as a packaging example in order to show the curled hair.

METAXA ON-METAL

In the world of spirits, METAXA is celebrated as the smoothest spirit under the Sun and is often a gift of choice. In the premium spirits industry, gift boxes are often made of metal, most commonly in rectangular or cylindrical shapes. With METAXA On-Metal, the House of METAXA creates a metal showcase that is both curved and smooth, in an unusual shape, to echo the smoothness of the liquid. For this striking metal box, inspiration did not come from the metal box industry, but rather from metal techniques and finishes used in automobile production.

Echinoctius

This project is unique in many ways. The design had to reflect the unique character of the product in question – exclusive author wine. Besides, there was a requirement to communicate the deep meaning in the product’s name – superlative, solstice, contrast between night and day, black and white, open and obscure. The design had the intent to reflect the secret hidden in the night: the beauty of the night sky that amazes us so much and the mystic riddle hidden in the constellations and the Zodiac.
