Nikasi White Beer Packaging

Nikasi

Nikasi is a packaging design for a high-end white beer. The bottle neck is carved in three dimensions and carries an embossed geometric figure of Ninkasi, described in myth as the first goddess of brewing. The bottle body is partially sanded, and the raised label is shaped to suggest the gown of the goddess. Instead of relying only on a printed label, the sculpted glass form gives the beer its identity. The bottle measures 63 mm in width, 63 mm in depth and 225 mm in height. Repeated proofing and three-dimensional modeling made mass production possible.

Snow Zero Packaging

Snow Zero

Snow Zero is a packaging design for a low-alcohol, low-calorie hard sparkling water. The name Zero refers to midnight, seen as both an ending and a beginning. The infinity symbol on the package expresses the idea of continuation. The figure 0 is rendered with a three-dimensional liquid metal effect to suggest a light and refreshing taste. Illustrations on the bottles draw on pioneer visual art styles for a futuristic look. The water drop shaped bottles can be joined mouth to mouth, so two bottles form a new infinity symbol. Aluminum cans and glass bottles are used.

Zhenjiu Zhencang Chinese Baijiu

Zhenjiu Zhencang is a packaging and display set for a Chinese baijiu spirit. The bottles rest on a tray shaped like a pearl shell, a form inspired by the painting The Birth of Venus. The overall shape recalls a sailboat moving over waves. A crystal base is carved with an ancient winery and lit by an LED light that refers to the long history of the producer. Metal, wood, PMMA and plastic are combined to create a collectible object. The pearl theme reflects the brand idea of nobility and preciousness, as brewing and pearl forming are both slow processes.
