Yagumitan

Yagumitan is a packaging design for high-end wild honey. The product name refers to the honey seeker in the valley. The glass bottle is shaped with diamond-like cut facets that express the scarcity and the quality of the honey. Colored glass is used to bring out the color and the texture of the honey inside. The outer box is formed as an undulating valley, and the gap between the valleys takes the shape of a compass to suggest searching. Mi Musician

Mi Bluetooth Headset Mini is packaging created for a compact sports headset. The headset shell is minimal and carries a single circular button. The packaging uses images of famous musicians, so the oval shell reads as a head and the button as an open mouth. The result suggests a singer or a conductor, and gives character to a simple product. A PET tray holds the headset and the controller at the front, while the wires remain hidden. A paper cover keeps the structure firm. The design aims to appeal to users between 18 and 29 years old.

Puli

Puli is a safety pill bottle with a double-cap closure. The outer cap is connected to the inner cap by tracks. In the initial position, the outer cap turns freely while the inner cap stays still. An adult can pull the outer cap so that protrusions and depressions engage the two caps, which then rotate together to open the bottle. Children find the outer cap hard to pull because the channel is narrow, so the contents stay protected. The flat body recalls a hip flask, hints at the pulling action and is easy to carry. Puli is made of HDPE by injection molding.

Follow Me

Follow Me is a packaging design for Buddhist vegetarian food. The design addresses young consumers, a group not well served by the traditional packaging usually applied to such products. A simple visual language with a Zen character replaces familiar decorative styles and changes common expectations about Buddhist products. Each package measures 80 by 40 by 300 millimetres. The intent is to make vegetarian food more accessible to a younger audience.
